Mass for the Brokenhearted

Everyone has experienced a time of loneliness or sorrow, a time when we felt we were unloved. It could have been due to the death of a loved one or the sorrow of a separation or divorce. Our feeling of emptiness could stem from illness or alienation from God and the Church. Whatever the reason is, it is important to always remember that we are loved, now and forever! God loves us. Our Blessed Mother loves us. And as a Christian family, we love each other.

If you know someone who is sad because they feel unloved, or if they have experienced a loss that has left them needing reassurance that they are loved, please list them in the Special Notes to be included in our Mass for the Brokenhearted on February 14, the Feast of St. Valentine at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Middletown, New York. Simply list the names and intentions you wish remembered. The Mass is offered on behalf of those who need this special kind of spiritual and emotional healing.
